About the role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Procurement & Inventory Administrator to support our Procurement team at the Arundel head office. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role is central to keeping our national operations running smoothly. You will assist with procurement administration, supplier management, and the ongoing operation of our Hilti ON!Track inventory system across all sites.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Raising purchase orders, following up on orders and reconciling supplier invoices against delivery records
  • Processing payments using the company credit card and assisting with requisition order processing
  • Managing the Hilti ON!Track asset and inventory system, including staff onboarding, asset labelling, transfers, disposals and obsolete asset management
  • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance and resolving supply issues promptly
  • Managing and coordinating the repair and servicing of hand and power tools
  • Managing the Procurement team inbox and ensuring timely responses
  • Handling stock issues, discrepancies and shortages, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Front-of-office reception duties, including greeting visitors and managing meeting requests
  • Answering and directing incoming calls
  • Coordinating team meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes as required
  • Providing ad hoc procurement and administrative support to all departments as required


About you

We are looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and a genuine interest in procurement and operations support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable across both administrative and hands-on tasks and will thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will bring:

  • At least one year of experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain administration role
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional phone manner
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Sound time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with inventory or procurement systems is an advantage
  • A current Australian driver’s licence and comfort driving a ute when required
  • A practical, common-sense approach to problems and a willingness to get things done
