GroutShore Earth Retention & Micropile Foundations – Sunshine Beach

Nestled against the southern side of the Noosa National Park, 71 Seaview Terrace is a unique location with uninterrupted views of the Noosa headland and Coral Sea.

The block of land has had several owners who fell in love with the location only to discover that environmental constraints by the abutting National Park and the limited access to the site via a narrow private lane way meant their dream of constructing a beach house required a significantly higher budget than they first thought.

Adding to the restrictions of access and the adjacent National Park are the geotechnical aspects of the site. Located on a relatively steep slope covered in several metres of dune sand, overlaying extremely weathered rock required any structure to be designed with overall slope stability in mind.
