PCA are recognized for the best civil project in NSW
PCA are thrilled to have been paid the largest compliment by their piers and recognised for the best civil project in NSW in the class two category (1-5 million dollars). The award was for an incredibly challenging project in the snowy mountains at a remote location called Geehi, PCA’s challenge was to construct a platform in the side of the mountain and build access tracks for a new switching station on a part of the snowy mountain river project with the pristine Snowy Mountains National Park.

Snowy Mountain Hydro Electricity Scheme
Piling and Civil Australia has been selected to work on an element of the Snowy Mountain Hydro Electricity Scheme by Transgrid. This is a very challenging project located above the snow line in a remote section of the National Park called Geehi.

Mt. Morgan Range
PCA has recently completed a very significant project at Mt. Morgon, just outside of Rockhampton in Queensland for RoadTek, a division of the Department of Transport and Main Roads. The reconstruction of many sections of the Mt Morgon Range has been a significant undertaking after it was severely damaged after the 2013 floods. PCA was proudly involved with a broad range of tasks involving engineering, soil nailing, rock bolting, earth drains, rock fall netting and grouting.
